About JDH Auction Enterprises

Founded in 2006 by Col. Jordan Hunter, JDH Auction Enterprises, Inc. brings decades of experience, dedication, and integrity to the auction and livestock marketing industry. Over the past 20 years, Jordan has marketed purebred cattle from coast to coast, working with breeders and operations of all sizes across the country.

Jordan began his career as a ringman for purebred cattle sales and wholesale car auctions. That foundation quickly developed into a successful auctioneering career, allowing him to sell numerous purebred cattle sales nationwide. He has also had the opportunity to work in the collector car auction business as part of the staff at Mecum Collector Car Auctions, further broadening his auction experience.

In 2022, JDH Auction Enterprises expanded its services to include sale management and consulting. Jordan enjoys working with cattle breeders regardless of herd size-from 10 head to 1,000-helping them coordinate and develop effective marketing plans for their programs. Building relationships with breeders is the part of the business he values most. Throughout the sale planning process, Jordan assists with all aspects of the event, including advertising placement, sale book coordination, and sale-day logistics.

In 2024, Jordan married Rachel Anne Hunter, and together they work side by side throughout the year. Rachel plays an active role in the business and assists on sale days with clerking, buyer registration, and settlement. Jordan and Rachel travel across the country to various sales, enjoying the opportunity to work together.

Family is an important part of JDH Auction Enterprises. Jordan and Rachel are proud parents to their twin boys, Treydon and Cash. In their free time, they enjoy watching the boys play football and basketball.
